What a lovely first week back we have had in Year 2!

This week we have spent time settling into our new routines, getting to know each other and beginning our learning. We wrote a journey story for our Cold Task, completed our first journaling tasks in Maths and were very lucky to begin the first of our Relax Kids sessions this Wednesday…to name just a few activities! We also started our new class text ‘The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me’ by Roald Dahl which we are really enjoying!

A big thank you and well done to all those who brought in some home learning to share with us, based on our new topic ‘Towers, Tunnels and Turrets’! We really enjoyed hearing lots of interesting facts about castles, seeing your drawings and looking at the brilliant photos of castles you have visited.

We are very proud of the brilliant start you have all made to the new school year and look forward to doing it all again on Monday!
