Happy Easter Class Two

It’s been a short but busy week in Class Two.

In Maths, we finished our learning about 3D shapes by describing their properties and sorting them into groups.

In English, we created our own dragons and wrote an information text all about them. From snow dragons to fire dragons, from sea dragons to forest dragons, from unicorn dragons to panda dragons, we had them all! Well done for being so creative and for using the skills and language we’ve been practising in our model text to help Class Two.

We finished reading our class novel ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ – we’ve been on an exhilarating journey with Mr Fox and were so relieved and pleased to find out that Mr Fox’s cunning plan fooled the three mean farmers.

We also finished our Coastline topic this week with some sea shanties – scrubbing the decks, climbing the rigging and bailing out the water all in time to the music.

Today, we’ve enjoyed lots of fun Easter activities including an Easter egg hunt organised by FOSS, thank you FOSS. We had lots of fun! Have a look at the photos below.

Well done for all of your hard work this half term Class Two. We hope you have a happy and safe Easter holiday and look forward to seeing you all in the Summer term.
