Playdough skills and phonics

We were very excited to use our brand new pots of playdough this week. It’s amazing how many different physical skills we develop whilst having fun!

Rolling, cutting, pressing, squishing, patting and snipping.

We also started out Little Wandle Phonics programme! Have a look in your phonics books to find out about our learning this week. You will also have your reading book and sharing book too.

Here we are ready to learn, writing graphemes and having phonics fun!

What lovely pictures. Belle has had the busiest week but she’s loved every second. We have one very happy excited little girl to start reading. Thank you so much for another fun packed week in Reception 🙂 I heard the pants song with Mr Bell was also a highlight. Thank you Mrs Puddick and Mrs Kench

Eddie was very excited to share his new phonics book with us and we were impressed with how much he could already remember. He loved teaching us the sounds and the pictures. It’s lovely to see how enthusiastic he is about his learning at school. Thank you Mrs Puddick and Mrs Kench.
