Time to Say Goodbye…

Time to Say Goodbye…

There was a sad and somber mood in the air on Thursday as the children knew they would be returning home. After a breakfast of toast and cereal, the children were ready to pack their bags and strip their beds. After one final room inspection, Room 11 were crowned the winners of the tidiest room and were given a cracking bundle of prizes.

As we awaited the arrival of the coach, the children played a few card games to pass the time (the game of President being a firm favourite of many) and we then started to board the coach to return home. As you can see from the photos, the incredible adventures had taken their tole on the children as they all soon drifted off to sleep. We stopped off for a quick lunch and then (to perk the children up on the home stretch) we had a boogie on the bus to some ‘Banging Tunes’.

Overall, it has been such a great experience for both children and staff. They have all represented Southill brilliantly and have had a great time, making memories that will last forever.
