Towers, Tunnels… and Music!

Well, what a busy week in Year Two again this week.  We have been busy with our topic work learning about animals that live underground and exploring different ways to build tall towers.  In maths we have been working hard to learn and explore patterns in different number sequences, counting in 2s, 5s, 10s, and 3s.  In English on Thursday we celebrated National Poetry Day with some great poems of our own titled ‘I Wish…’  And on Thursday afternoon we played along to the African song ‘Hands, Feet, Heart’ on percussion instruments.  Next week we are hoping to have a go with chime bars!  Our photos this week show us moving to the beat of the music and playing our instruments.
