Wow! What an afternoon it has been! Year 5 ventured across the unit and spent the afternoon in Year 6 getting a feel for what it will be like when they come back to school in September.

We played a few games, shared what we were excited and nervous about, and then spent the main part of the afternoon creating some All About Me artwork. These brilliant paintings will be displayed at the entrance to the classroom at the start of the school  year.

We ended the day by answering some final questions about Year 6 and you should have received some information about the team teaching your children next year and some ideas for what you could do for home learning over the holidays linked to our topic…Britain at War!

Well done, Year 5. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back into the classroom in September.
