EXPRESS YOURSELF for Children’s Mental Health Week

This week marks Children’s Mental Health Week launched by Place2B, as detailed by Mr Mason in last week’s Virtual Assembly.  This year’s theme is Express Yourself, which is about about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good.  It’s important to remember that being able to express yourself is not about being the best at something or putting on a performance for others. It is about finding a way to show who you are, and how you see the world, that can help you feel good about yourself.

We’d really love to include your creations as part of this week’s assembly. Below are the short videos shared last week as a reminder of some suggested activities, however you may have some great ideas of your own!

Please send anything over to us at media@southill.dorset.sch.uk we’d love to hear from you!
