Our Final Session of Swimming

Our Final Session of Swimming

Well, that went quickly! Today marked Year 4’s very last Southill swimming session of the calendar year and my-oh-my did we make the most of it! Front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke, diving and retrieving floats all in just half an hour!

It has been fantastic seeing the children’s confidence in the water grow during our eight sessions and we hope that the children feel inspired to continue their swimming development outside of school. I am sure we will be seeing even more hats and certificates in Star Assemblies in the not so distant future…

A huge thank you to Mr. Mason, Mrs. Aitken, Mrs. Harris and Sandra who have taught the children over the last few months.
