Primary Leadership Academy

Primary Leadership Academy

Today, eight children from Year 5 represented Southill as they participated in a workshop at Redlands. The workshop aimed to develop their leadership skills and ability.

Now that the children have completed the workshop, they have become ‘Bronze Ambassadors’ and will be responsible back at school for:

-Increasing participation and healthy lifestyles back at school.
-promoting the positive values of sport in and through sport.
-becoming role model advocating PE and school sport.
-being the young people’s voice on PE and school sport in their school.

They will meet with me at least once every half term to discuss and put into place ideas and activities in order to increase participation in sporting activities and challenges. I have to say that the children were impeccably behaved and represented the school brilliantly.

A thoroughly enjoyable and thought-provoking day. Well done to the newly promoted Bronze Ambassadors. I am sure you are going to make a BIG difference to the children back at school.
