Wriggle and Crawl

What an exciting start back to our final term in class 2.

We have been out and about in our beautiful school grounds looking for mini-beasts as we become entomologists in our new topic ‘Wriggle and Crawl’.

We have explored three different habits this week – the woodland walk, hedgerow and pond – finding woodlice, ants, spiders, earwigs, ladybirds, water boatmen, tadpoles and 2 newts.

Perhaps you could go on a mini-beast hunt around your garden or local area this weekend.  Do you think you will find similar things or something different?
