What a brilliant and busy week it has been in Year 1!

In Writing, we started our brand-new topic all about Naughty Bus. To kick things off, we pretended to go on our very own bus journey through London. The children loved imagining the sights and sounds along the way, and even got charged for their journey! But of course, just like in the story, Naughty Bus got up to mischief…he even destroyed our library - oh dear!

In Geography, we’ve been learning about a bird’s eye view. The children explored what it means to look at something from above and then had a go at creating their own ‘messy map’ of our classroom. They all did so well!

We also had a noisy music lesson! The children had fun finding the beat of different pieces of music using egg shakers and even creating their own rhythms!

It’s been a very fun week with lots of laughs!
