Celebration Assembly - A Week to Remember!
This week's celebration assembly was packed with achievements and exciting moments from across our school community.
Celebrating Our Mathematicians and Stormbreakers
We were delighted to recognise our outstanding Mathematicians this week, celebrating pupils who have shown excellent mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Our Stormbreakers also took centre stage, with a special focus on Self-Care – an important reminder for us all about looking after our physical and mental wellbeing.
An Action-Packed Week
It's been an incredibly busy week at Southill! Year 1 welcomed a visiting artist, Year 2 explored Lyme Regis to learn about Mary Anning, and pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed a theatre trip to London to see Paddington.
On the sporting front, our basketball team won their tournament – a fantastic achievement! Some of our children also competed in the Nash Cup football tournament on Friday, showing great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout.
Well Done Everyone!
From the arts to science, theatre to sport, our pupils have shown curiosity, enthusiasm and excellence in everything they've done this week. We're so proud of each and every one of them.
Here's to another fantastic week ahead!
Matt
