Geometric and organic art

This week our focus is on geometric and organic art.

We looked at the work of Wassily Kandinsky this afternoon and the children used his work as inspiration to create their own geometric designs.

Next week, our writing is moving on to non-fiction and facts about bears. The children will be creating fact files about these grizzly animals. Any additional research from home is warmly welcomed!

We've completed our maths unit on place value and will move onto addition and subtraction next week. The children are all doing really well in their learning and excited to start their new books next week!
