Meet our new batch of Bronze Ambassadors!

Today eight children from Year 5 were selected to become the next sporting leaders of Southill Primary. Each of them was chosen for their growing leadership skills and they took part in a special workshop designed to help them become confident and inspiring leaders in sport.

After being presented with their smart inaugural black T-shirts the children dived into a whole range of sporting challenges that put their reciprocity, creativity, independence and leadership to the test. From fast paced team tasks to tricky problem solving activities they rose to every challenge with enthusiasm and determination.

We also gathered around a rather suave table to share ideas about how we can help every child at Southill Primary achieve 60 active minutes each day and make our school an even healthier and more energetic place to be. The ambassadors had plenty of thoughtful suggestions and spoke with real passion about helping others get moving.

They have been brilliant throughout the day and there is no doubt they will become excellent role models for the whole school.
