Our learning this week!
What a fantastic week we’ve had!
In History, the children were captivated by the story of the fearless warrior queen Boudicca, exploring her rebellion and comparing the lives of the Celts and Romans. We also learned about Emperor Claudius and how he helped shape Roman Britain.
Ask us…Who was the first Roman emperor to successfully invade Britain? Why did Boudicca revolt against the Romans? What three defensive tactics did the Roman Imperial Army use?
In English, The Baker by the Sea inspired some incredible thinking, with children writing powerful and passionate speeches to help restore a village full of imagination and big ideas!
In French, we’ve had great fun learning to talk about our pets. We might be able to teach you a few!
And in PSHE, we’ve been reflecting on what makes each of us unique, thinking about our strengths and challenges, and celebrating everything that makes us who we are.
A full, fun-packed week of learning, creativity, and confidence-building!
Have a wondeful weekend!
