This afternoon, we kicked off our Monday 2%er assembly with a big question: “How do we keep each other safe at school?” The children wowed us with their thoughtful answers, reminding us that everyone – pupils and staff alike – plays a part in looking after one another. They also showed they know exactly who to go to if they ever need help, picking out the adults in school who are there to keep them safe.
After our important chat about safety, it was time for celebrations! We clapped and cheered for children who’ve earned their Lexia certificates – well done, reading superstars! We also shared in the excitement of some amazing achievements outside of school. Special shout-out to the pupil who’s nearly a word millionaire already – what a fantastic accomplishment!
It was a brilliant afternoon full of teamwork, encouragement and positivity. Well done, Southill!
