Cactus painting

This week the children really took their time painting their cactus in bright, vibrant colours reminiscent of Mexico, the country which has inspired their Art this term. The children used primary colours to create secondary colours then used these colours to make their piece really stand out! There was lots of discussion about how much of one colour to put with another in order to get the shade they wanted. In the background I played Mexican music which made for an upbeat and jovial painting session.
