Monochromatic Art
We have had a lovely arty afternoon today! This week we have been learning all about monochromatic art. We all made a collage using shades of black, grey and white. They are now on display in the classroom, so feel free to poke your heads in and have a look!
We then explored mandalas and focused on using geometric and organic shapes. The children did an amazing job and they really are stunning! Next week, we will move on to exploring how henna is used in festivals and celebrations.
In maths today, we were applying our knowledge of tens and ones. The children were able to use a variety of manipulatives to show two digit numbers. They really impressed us with their existing knowledge!
A fab first full week - well done everyone!
