Y6: SATs? No Worries for These Clever Cookies.

As SATs week approaches, Year 6 were treated to a brilliant surprise today: some very special “clever cookies” to remind them just how proud we are of all the hard work, resilience and determination they have shown this year.

The children have worked incredibly hard leading up to next week. From early morning arithmetic, to reading practice, reasoning challenges and grammar revision, they have consistently shown maturity, perseverance and a fantastic attitude towards their learning. SATs are simply an opportunity for them to show everything they already know and can do.

A huge thank you must go to Laura and FOSS for putting together these lovely treats for the pupils. The children were so excited to receive them and it was a really thoughtful way to help everyone feel calm, confident and positive heading into next week.

I was so impressed today by how upbeat and supportive the class were with one another. There was lots of smiling, encouragement and excitement in the room - exactly the atmosphere we want heading into SATs week.

Year 6: remember that you are prepared, capable and ready. Most importantly of all, you are much more than a test score and we are already incredibly proud of every single one of you.
