Saving the Planet from the Varmints!

🌱 Our Secret Society of Gardeners is Growing! 🌱

This week, our class continued our mission to help save the planet from the Varmints. Inspired by the story Varmints, we thought carefully about how nature disappeared when the Varmints took over and how important it is to protect and restore the natural world.

To recruit new members to our Secret Society of Gardeners, we designed eye-catching posters encouraging people to join our cause. We discussed what makes an effective poster and included persuasive slogans, colourful illustrations, and important information about how gardening can help bring life back to our communities.

The children showed fantastic creativity, filling their posters with blooming flowers, buzzing bees, thriving trees, and powerful messages about caring for the environment.

As we worked, we talked about the small actions everyone can take to make a big difference, such as planting seeds, creating habitats for wildlife, and looking after green spaces. Our posters remind us that when people work together, we can help nature flourish once again.

We are proud of our newest recruits and look forward to continuing our mission to make the world greener, one plant at a time!
