The Rainforest...

A Rainforest Adventure with Professor Lee 🌿

Today we had a very exciting visit from Professor Lee at Mini Professors, and it turned into a fantastic rainforest adventure!

We started by learning all about the three layers of the rainforest: the forest floor, the understory, and the canopy. It was amazing to discover how each layer is different and how plants and animals adapt to live in their own special part of the rainforest.

Next, we explored the animals that live there. We found out which creatures live in each layer and why. Some animals prefer the dark, damp forest floor, while others live high up in the trees in the canopy. It was really interesting to see how each animal has its own perfect home.

One of the best parts of the day was learning about fruits and vegetables that grow in the rainforest. We even got to taste some! We tried coconut, pineapple, passion fruit, and figs — and they were all super delicious.

It was a fun and educational experience, and we learned so much about the rainforest and the amazing things that live there. Thank you to Professor Lee for such a wonderful visit!
