Leila and the Blue Fox
Our writing topic for this half term is based on a wonderful book called 'Leila and the Blue Fox'. The story follows Leila, a child who had to flee Syria when she very young and settle in London, and whose Mother left her to live with her aunt as she moved to Norway to study rare arctic animals. Leila goes on a trip to Norway to visit her mother, and joins her on an expedition to study the very rare and fascinating Blue Arctic Fox. In parallel to this, we follow the blue Arctic fox as it embarks on a long migration across the Arctic circle.
